CORE FOUNDATIONS

We are so happy that you have decided to further your relationship with Jesus by becoming more rooted and grounded in the Word of God! This is exactly why www.nowhis.com exists — to see people all around the world discipled to better follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The curriculum you presented here was birthed out of our desire to help leaders disciple new believers and their church family. The twelve lessons were taken from our two-year curriculum (at Joshua Nations International) which is being taught in 59 nations through over 7,500 schools!

This simple program provides a carefully selected group of Biblical concepts that we have found are essential to establish your faith in Jesus. This first selection of lessons is CORE FOUNDATIONS.

We hope you are challenged and strengthened as you progress through each lesson, both in video and in the provided text that accompanies. We encourage you to find a Bible to follow along and look up the Scriptures. If you don’t have a Bible, you can visit www.biblegateway.com or you can download the Bible app to your phone.

Being created by God, we are created for God – and are designed to have relationship with Him. Unfortunately, we have to deal with the issue of sin.  Sin must be identified and dealt with. Thankfully this is done through Jesus.

It is the priority of the church to extend these wonderful blessings into the world and to preach the Gospel to all people in all places. By taking the good news of Jesus into the world, the church engages in what is known as missions. Learn about Biblical church and missions in this lesson.

Evangelism is often a “loaded” term to believers. Most think of a crazed street preacher that is shouting at people walking by. Actually, evangelism is the responsibility of sharing the good news of Jesus with those who are lost. This is accomplished through relationship, proclamation, and faith. Sharing your faith should not be scary or intimidating. When you allow the love of Jesus to work through you, it will become easier and easier.
